Of Council

During his years at Rutgers Law School, Mr. Natale served as the Research Editor for the Rutgers Camden Law Journal and authored a published article addressing the powers of The United States Attorney General under Title VII of the 1968 Civil Rights Act.

Upon graduating Rutgers cum laude, Mr. Natale began employment with The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in Cincinnati as a field attorney where he represented the federal government in the investigation and prosecution of unfair labor practices under the National Labor Relations Act.

Mr. Natale transferred his employment with the NLRB to the Office Of The Public Defender for the State Of New Jersey retiring in 2006. He served as the First Assistant Public Defender for the Gloucester County region for 17 years. During that time, he represented defendants charged with serious indictable offenses including murder, armed robbery, aggravated sexual assault and first-degree allegations of drug manufacturing and distribution.

After his service as Public Defender, he practiced land use law, representing developers in their applications before municipal planning and zoning boards of adjustment. He was also appointed as solicitor for a local zoning board of adjustment. During his tenure, he negotiated significant contributions for The Council on Affordable Housing municipal obligations.

In September 2008, Natale became Of Counsel to the William H. Buckman Law Firm. His practice continues to emphasize criminal defense, civil rights and land use matters. He has known Mr. Buckman for over 30 years both professionally and personally and is very proud to have this opportunity.
